Putting Bushwacker Hardware to The Test

Bushwacker is dedicated to producing quality American made parts that are engineered to last. This means using the highest quality materials, components, and hardware for every product we manufacture. Every piece of hardware that’s included with our products goes through a rigorous testing process to ensure the best performance. Our stainless steel and coated steel bolts, clips, washers, fasteners, and screws are vigorously tested for environmental and chemical corrosion resistance, including salt spray resistance.

Bushwacker tests all of its hardware at certified and accredited Military and Automotive (SAE) testing facilities. Our hardware is placed in a testing chamber for up to 1,000 hours, where it is checked at regular intervals for corrosion:

Most OEM manufacturers only require 250-500 hours of salt spray exposure with minimal or no corrosion. Bushwacker tests its hardware for up to 1,000 hours to ensure the best quality parts for our kits products. Most of our hardware kits are a mixture of stainless and coated steel fasteners, but regardless of the fastener base material or coating, the parts are tested to ensure they will pass corrosion testing requirements.

You can rest assured that when you buy Bushwacker, you’re buying quality American made goods backed by unmatched customer service. This is our promise to you! Please reach out to us if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
