Boss Pocket Style vs Pocket Style Fender Flares: What’s the Difference?

Bushwacker Boss Pocket Style Fender Flares vs. Pocket Style Fender Flares

If you’ve been looking at fender flares for your truck, you’ve probably seen our Pocket Style® Fender Flares, which are known for their rugged bolt-on appearance (but without needing to drill into the actual fenders). In addition to this style, and depending on your vehicle, you may have also seen the Boss™ Pocket Style® Fender Flares. So what’s the difference between the standard Pocket Style vs. Boss Pocket Style?

The Boss Pocket Style flares have a raised area around the fender hardware bolts, whereas the standard Pocket Style have indentations, as illustrated in the photo above. The Boss Pocket Style has a distinctly different look and are available for various years of the GMC Sierra as well as the Nissan Frontier, whereas our standard Pocket Style Fender Flares have a wider range of applications.

The Boss Pocket Style Fender Flares, like the standard Pocket Style flares, are made from tough Dura-Flex 2000 material that’s 100% UV protected and easily printable. They also come with with stainless steel pocket hardware, which will look shiny and brilliant for years. Of course they also have a limited lifetime warranty and are made in the USA. Several applications are also available as part of our color-matching fender flare program, which are available in sets of four with pre-installed edge trim an pocket hardware. Below is a full list of Boss Pocket Style Fender Flares.
