One of the most noticable designs about the BRC-40 was that it featured flat fenders. One can speculate why the second edition used flat fenders instead of the original curved ones on the “Blitz Buggy“. Regardless, several things about are true about flat fenders; they provide exceptional coverage from kicked up debris, and they open up the wheel well for articulation.
