Catching a Crash at the 2015 King of the Hammers

2015 King of the Hammers Crash

Sometimes you’re in the right place at the right time and you get pictures of the whole thing. Such was the case at the start of the 2015 King of the Hammers race on Friday, February 6.

The Ultra4 car #1014 of Jeremy Ealand got too high up on a dirt berm and ended up rolling over in front of car #312 of Eric Brinker. Amazingly, Brinker managed to not collide with Ealand, and Ealand landed on his wheels and continued on to race. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Brinker had qualified 116th; Ealand 114th. However, neither driver finished the race.

This just goes to show the kind of excitement and drama that can unfold during these Ultra4 races!
