The Extang 2015 Ford F-150

There were only a handful of 2015 Ford F-150 pickups at this year’s SEMA Show. We had one and so did Extang, a manufacturer of tonneau covers.

The Extang 2015 Ford F-150 looks great and was actually built by students in various automotive programs at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We must say, they did a fantastic job.

The 3.5-liter EcoBoost-powered truck was located in the Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) booth and features a host of modifications, including Bushwacker Pocket Style® Fender Flares, to transform the F-150 into the ultimate work truck. There are custom wheels and tires, a BDS Suspension kit, all sorts of tools in the bed, custom racks, and a host of other aftermarket goodies to make this truck work and perform better. And that finish? That’s not a wrap—it’s paint! The overall result is a very clean looking truck that’s not over the top, but instead, functional and attractive. This is one of those trucks you’d actually drive; one you might see at the hardware store and think, “That’s a good lookin’ truck!”
