Can Joey Cambria be stopped at Maple Grove Raceway?

When he comes with his 2003 Ken’s Kustom Dragster to take part in the Mid Atlantic Super Comp Association races, the racer from nearby Shillington, Pa., has been hard to stop.

He did it again on Sunday afternoon during the Super Circuit Series, winning the MASCA race as Maple Grove wrapped up a busy weekend of bracket racing before turning around and hosting the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series presented by Penske over Memorial Day Weekend.

The two days of racing at The Grove featured drivers from MASCA, the Mid-Atlantic Super Gas Association and a charity Corvette race for the Ronald McDonald House run by County Corvette.

Also on hand was the East Coast Stock/Super Stock Association, kicking off the first-ever Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trial Stock/Super Stock Shootout.

Cambria, who won two MASCA races at The Grove last season, won Sunday with a pass of 8.887 seconds at 169.13 to beat Dave Layne (Levittown, N.Y.) in the final.
